In March 2025, a patent infringement lawsuit between the global biotech giant Cytiva and the domestic company Bio-Link has drawn significant attention in the industry. 

The plaintiff is Cytiva Sweden AB, a leading global biotechn giant, and the defendants include Bio-Link Pharmaceutical Equipment Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., Bio-Link Pharmaceutical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Bio-Link Medical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. 

The details of the disputed patent have not been disclosed, however, based on the business domains of both parties, it is speculated in the industry that it may involve key process equipment technologies such as disposable bioreactor bags, which are critical consumables in biopharmaceutical production, directly impacting drug manufacturing efficiency and safety.
