Mr. Xun SUN is a patent attorney specialized in patent relating to mechanical design and manufacturing, auto parts, engine, optical instrument, printing equipment, automatic control, semi-conductor, electron component, communication, internet and end system, computer and application, electronic system and so on, which includes patent application, examination, reexamination and invalidation, as well as IP litigation and non-litigation services.

As a patent attorney, he has been starting to commence patent filing and prosecution in our firm since 2006. At present, he has gained abundant experience in dealing with complex patent cases.

Ever since he threw himself into patent agency, he has handled thousands of patent filing and response to office action in the field of electromechanics, chemistry, optics, communication, computer and so on. He has accumulated abundant experience through years of practical operation. As an experienced patent attorney, he is expert in patent invalidation and infringement litigation of machinery and electricity. He has been engaging in patent drafting, patent filing, patent reexamination, patent invalidation and litigation for plenty of well-known companies at home and abroad, such as Siemens, Sony, Epson, Toshiba, Toyota Motor Corporation, Honda, Samsung, Hyundai and so on. 

He holds a Master’s degree in Management from University of Wollongong and Double Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Design and Manufacture and Automation from Dalian University of Technology. He has a good mastery of English and Japanese. Before joining this firm, he worked as a technical support manager at OGAWA in Australia, where he was responsible for technical development, technical staff training as well as production management.
