Recently, the CNIPA agreed that Hunan Province and Xiangtan City carry out the construction of national intellectual property protection centers for the purpose of rapid collaborative protection of intellectual property rights for the advanced manufacturing and new material industries, intelligent manufacturing and biomedical industries. So far, 60 national-level intellectual property protection centers have been under construction or in operation, involving 26 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the nation, and a network of intellectual property protection centers covering major regions nationwide has been basically established.
Hunan Province is located in the transition zone between the coastal area and the central and western regions, the junction zone with the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the coastal open economic belt, facing great opportunities for industrial gradient transfer and state support for the development of the central and western regions. The Hunan Intellectual Property Protection Center and Xiangtan Intellectual Property Protection Center, which are under construction, will be in collaboration with the Changsha Intellectual Property Protection Center already in operation to rapidly improve the intellectual property protection and services level in Hunan, accelerate the accumulation of innovation resources, and promote the innovation improvement of advantageous industries, optimize the business and innovation environment, and serve the high-quality economic development.
