For the purpose of further improving the quality and efficiency of patent examination and providing the public with efficient and convenient examination services, CNIPA has decided to open the "Patent Business Operation System" on January 11, 2023, integrating and optimizing patent electronic applications, online supplementation of patent payment information and management, patent affairs service, PCT international patent application, design international application and other business systems.

The "Patent Business Operation System" will support the web version, mobile terminal and client terminal. Registered users who have improved the user registration information via the unified identity authentication platform can submit invention patent applications, utility model patent applications, design patent applications, PCT International patent application, international design application, PCT national phase application, submission of patent reexamination, invalidation request, electronic receipt of various notifications, decisions and other documents issued by the Patent Office, payment of patent fees, patent legal procedures and patent affairs services etc.

To cooperate with the opening of the "Patent Business Handling System", the relevant system will be upgraded by CNIPA from January 9 to 26, 2023.
