These days, Aux has two added court announcements. One is that the plaintiff Zhuhai Gree Electric Co., Ltd. sued the defendant Aux Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. for infringement of trade secrets, and requested the court to order the seven defendants to immediately stop infringing on the plaintiff’s trade secrets and destroy the air conditioner products and molds and technical drawings made by the plaintiff’s trade secrets. In the meanwhile, they should compensate the plaintiff for economic losses and reasonable rights protection fees of 99 million yuan, and multiple patent rights shall be transferred from the first defendant to the plaintiff. Another announcement showed that Aux Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Aosheng Trading Co., Ltd. raised objections to the jurisdiction of the case, which was rejected by the court. Besides, Aux Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. refused to accept the ruling, it has submitted an appeal.

Before that, Aux and Gree had gone to court many times over patent disputes, involving dozens of legal proceedings. In April this year, Ningbo Aosheng Trading Co., Ltd. (formerly Ningbo Aux Air Conditioning Co., Ltd.) was enforced for more than 60.56 million yuan due to a patent dispute with Gree.
