2025-05-08
The "Analysis of Key Technology Patents of Next-Generation Internet" (hereinafter referred to as "Analysis") released by the China Intellectual Property Society in Shenzhen on the 16th shows that in the past decade, the number of patent applications for next-generation Internet technology in the world has accumulated to approximately 4.17 million, of which the cumulative number of applications in China is approximately 1.71 million, accounting for approximately 41% of the total.
In terms of the "Analysis", the current Internet is in a period of intergenerational change, and the next generation of Internet technology is speeding up the empowerment of traditional manufacturing and injecting strong momentum into the development of the substantial economy. The "Analysis" was released at the "2023 Enterprise Science and Technology Innovation Development Forum" held that day. According to the data, between 2013 and 2021, in the fields related to key technologies of the next generation Internet, the average annual patent application growth rate in China reached 25.11%, which is more than twice the global average annual growth rate. Tencent, Huawei and Advanced Innovation, the three Chinese enterprises have entered the top 10 list of the number of valid patents in related fields.
What can be seen in the "Analysis" is that after long-term development, China's substantial economy has provided diverse and "shifting from reality to reality" application scenarios for the digital economy, further promoting the continuous iterative upgrade of the next generation of Internet technology.
