In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the revised Patent Law and its Implementing Regulations, and to clarify the specific applicable rules for the relevant provisions involving examination before and after the revised Implementing Regulations of the Patent Law come into effect, CNIPA has formulated the " Transitional Measures for Handling Examination Related to the Revised Patent Law and its Implementing Regulations”, which are hereby promulgated, effective from January 20, 2024.
