Recently, the China Nanotechnology Industry White Paper (2025), released at the 10th International Conference on Nanoscience and Technology held in Beijing, revealed that China's nanotechnology patents ranked first in the world, and the momentum of industrial development continued to increase. According to the White Paper, from 2000 to 2025, over 1.087 million nanotechnology patents have been granted worldwide, with China accounting for 464,000, or 43% of the total, ranking first globally. The transfer and licensing rate of nanotechnology patents in China has exceeded 8%, reflecting continuous improvement in the efficiency of commercialization.
