Recently, Longi Green Energy and Jinko Solar jointly announced on their WeChat official accounts that the two companies have reached a settlement in their patent litigation disputes, ending all patent litigation between the two parties worldwide and sharing some core patent technologies through cross-licensing.

Under the agreement, both parties agree to: terminate all ongoing patent-related legal proceedings worldwide and enter into a commercial arrangement that includes a cross-licensing agreement covering selected core patents owned by each party.

This settlement and patent licensing underscore both companies’ commitment to respecting intellectual property and pursuing win-win cooperation, setting a benchmark for long-term, sustainable IP partnerships in the solar industry. The two companies will continue investing in cutting-edge technologies, accelerate commercialization and practical applications, and explore opportunities for deeper cooperation.
