For the purpose of further improving the electronic level of trademark review, strengthening the effective connection between administration and judiciary, and promoting the green development of trademark review, according to the Trademark Office of CNIPA, the online application for review cases of rejection will be fully implemented. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

1. From November 1, 2022, for rejection and reexamination service, trademark agencies should, in principle, submit electronic applications through the online trademark service system, no longer with paper materials.

2. From the date of this notice issuance to November 1, for full implementing the "transition period" of online applications for rejection of review cases, trademark agencies shall be well-prepared, and which without accounts in the trademark online service system shall apply for registration as soon as possible.
