In 2022, the total number of copyright registrations in China reached 6,353,144, a year-on-year increase of 1.42%.

According to the statistics of copyright registration information of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government and the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 4,517,453 copyright registrations of works were completed nationwide in 2022, a year-on-year growth of 13.39%.

Based on the statistics of computer software copyright registration information of the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 1,835,341 computer software copyright registrations were completed nationwide in 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 19.50%.

In terms of copyright pledge registration information of the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 350 copyright pledge registrations were completed nationwide in 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 5.91%. There were 282 computer software copyright pledge registrations, a year-on-year decrease of 17.06%, 68 copyright pledges of works (except computer software) were registered, a year-on-year rise of 112.50%.
