The Renminbi standard for the international stage fees of PCT applications starting from July 1, 2023

In accordance with the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Payment of Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) Fees" signed by the CNIPA and WIPO, the CNIPA Charges for the international phase of PCT applications on behalf of the International Bureau of the WIPO in accordance with the RMB standard announced by WIPO.
1. RMB standards will be implemented from July 1, 2023
In terms of the renminbi standard of the international stage fee for PCT application announced by the WIPO from July 1, 2023, the CNIPA will charge the international stage fee for the PCT application according to the following standards.
PCT application fee standard in the international phase (unit: RMB yuan)
(1) International filing fee collected on behalf of the International Bureau
| 1. | The international application document should not exceed 30 pages | 10350 |
| 2. | Over 30 pages will be charged per page | 120 |
| 3. | Electronic Submission of Reductions (PDF format) | 1560 |
| 4. | Electronic submission of deductions (XML format) | 2340 |
(2) Handling fees charged on behalf of the International Bureau
If the standards need to be adjusted due to excessive exchange rate fluctuations and other reasons, it will be announced separately.
2. Scope of application
International filing fees for PCT applications filed with the CNIPA and received on or after July 1, 2023, and the handling fee required PCT international preliminary applications received on or after July 1, 2023 apply to this standard by the review.
In addition to the fees charged on behalf of the International Bureau, the fees charged by the CNIPA, such as search fees, remain unchanged. For details, please refer to the "Charge Standards for Patent Fees and Integrated Circuit Layout Designs" published on the website of CNIPA.
