A few days ago, the State Council approved the "Work Plan to Support Beijing in Deepening the Construction of a Comprehensive Demonstration Zone for the Expansion and Opening-up of the National Service Industry", named the Demonstration Zone 2.0 Plan. On December 5, at a special press conference held in Beijing, Zhou Liquan, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, stated that Beijing will play its role as a national intellectual property protection center and open up a green channel for confidentiality examination of invention patents for innovative medicine, providing innovative subjects with one-stop comprehensive services for intellectual property protection.

Zhou Liquan introduced that in the Demonstration Zone 2.0 plan approved by the State Council, there are 24 intellectual property tasks, with stronger reform, a higher degree of internationalization, and stronger comprehensive linkage among departments compared with the 1.0 plan, and the measures to support innovative development are more focused.
