The China Internet Development Report 2025 were officially released at the World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit. The Report shows that as the end of June 2025, China's 6G patent applications accounted for approximately 40.3% of the global total, ranking first in the world. At the same time, China now holds the largest number of AI-related patents globally, accounting for 60% of the world's total. China is accelerating the research and development and industrialization of 6G technology. Plenty of listed companies have recently stated their focus on key technology fields and seizing technology high ground of next-generation communication technology.
