Recently, the intelligent system for patent search and analysis (hereinafter referred to as the "new system") was officially put into operation, as an important part of the intelligent upgrading project of the CNIPA patent examination and research system, it aims at providing better patent search, patent analysis, literature browsing and data download services for public. The new system comprehensively covers and upgrades the functions and data of the original public retrieval system (hereinafter referred to as the "previous system").

The new system collects patent data from 105 countries and regions, and provides 11 search and analysis methods such as routine search, advanced search, applicant analysis, and technical field analysis, as well as 8 auxiliary tools such as family search and citation search. Meanwhile, the new system provides patent search and analysis functions in 9 languages for the public who can enter it through the link of the patent search module in the government affairs service section of the CNIPA official website, or directly enter the website pss-system.cponline.cnipa.gov.cn. The new system has further expanded patent data resources, optimized search application functions, enriched patent analysis models, effectively improved the level of facilitation of public patent search and analysis, further promoting the speed and efficiency of intellectual property policy implementation, and helping innovation and high-quality development.
